Train
Wollongong is just 85 minutes by train from Sydney Airport.
Take the train from the International or Domestic terminal to Wolli Creek, and change to a Wollongong train, bound for Port Kembla, Dapto or Bomaderry (South Coast line).
North Wollongong Station is the closest station to the University.
Wollongong trains leave Wolli Creek approximately every hour, however it can sometimes be quicker to catch a train from Wolli Creek to Hurstville to connect.

Free Shuttle
A circuit linking UOW to the city, the beach, Innovation Campus and Fairy Meadow, it also connects to Campus East and Weerona Colleges.
The Free Shuttle runs every 10 minutes in both directions, 7am-6pm (Mon-Fri); every 20 minutes 6pm-10pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am-6pm (weekends)
