Do you want to explore the concept of leadership? Do you want
to meet other tertiary students who want to make a positive impact on the world
around them? Would you like an inspiring and empowering environment to explore
issues relevant to leadership in theory and practice?
The S4S NLC has been designed by tertiary students at the University of Wollongong to enhance, support and encourage the leadership potential of their peers across all Australian universities in a single conference. It is the aim of the S4S NLC to empower its student delegation to be effective leaders in their campuses, communities and in future endeavours.
You will come away with an enduring commitment to the understanding and practice of leadership. We are targeting 100 + high achieving students from all around the country to attend our conference, students who are potentially the next generation of Australian leaders.
The four-day event will combine workshops, keynote speakers, reflection sessions, the “Walk for Water” Challenge along the beautiful Wollongong harbour, and a Charity Masquerade dinner dedicated to raising funds for “Youth off the Streets” to provide participants with a diverse and lively conference! Confirmed speakers include Father Riley (Youth off the Streets), Cheryl Kernot (Ex Australian Politician), Anne Marie Huxley (CEO Moss), Adrian D’Hage (Author), Paul Smith (Sports Psychologist) and Zac Zaharis (Everest Climber) plus an international workshop program.
