Students 4 Students National Leadership Conference
27th - 30th September @ University of WollongongThis amazing four-day conference brought over 80 of Australias's emerging young leaders to debate, discuss and find new insights on issues ranging from global stewardship, politics, social responsibility to the relevance of student leadership today.
Delgates were audience to some of the Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs, politicians, businessmen and women, lawyers and social activists who volunteered their time to impart wisdom and leadership experience on the tertiary aged leaders.
Over the four days, delegates were not only empowered by workshops and speakers but had a great chance to network with students from over seven universitys at a meet and greet at Wollongongs Regent theatre. The four days were non-stop with activites ranging from a hike up Mt Keira, learning how to surf, a visit to nan-tien temple and a film night.
If that wasn’t enough, the culmination of the conference was a glitzy Masquerade 4 Charity Ball, held at the Lagoon Restaurant. Members of UOW and the local community joined delegates to raise money for youth off the streets during a night of jazz, glamour, dancing and of course intrigue. Attendees raised over $2500 dollars for Father Chris O'reillys Youth of the Streets.
